Our first date on the east side of Austin included a winter storm, a speakeasy bar, and Mexican food – a perfect combination. We met on a dating app and after a few failed scheduling attempts, we made it to our first date. We bonded over our love of the Longhorns (Hook ‘Em), our favorite activities in Austin, and our dreams for the future. Both of us will agree it was the easiest, most comfortable, fun first date we had ever been on. It felt like we had known each other forever.
I was most impressed with Jack’s easygoing, fun personality and his good manners; he opened every door for me and picked me up from my apartment. I loved how much he made me laugh but I also loved his willingness to jump right in and talk about the big stuff. - Taylor
I immediately felt like Taylor was my best friend. The conversations felt natural, we could talk for hours without keeping track of time. I could not stop looking at her pretty blue eyes. We also share a similar sense of humor and love laughing together. - Jack
Two years in Austin together has included many new experiences with family, new friends, football games, lake days, and new memories; but, we can’t forget the most important - lots of walks and park time with the best doodle, Poppy. That being said, I think our favorite times together are long nights talking on the patio, cooking new recipes at home, and some friendly (sometimes) competition in a good board game.
We can’t wait to start this new chapter together, and are so excited to share our wedding with our favorite people, all of you! Thank you so much for being a part of our lives and a part of our special day. We will see you in Arizona, let’s celebrate! Love, The Future Mr. & Mrs. Holtzman
